MAINE CLEAN COMMUNITIES
Working to advance Maine's environmental, economic, and energy security by reducing petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. We promote the adoption of alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technologies, and energy-efficient practices to foster cleaner air and a sustainable future for our communities.
Who We Are
Maine Clean Communities is a statewide coalition focused on advancing the use clean transportation.
Our coalition is comprised of municipalities, clean fuel providers, fleet managers, state and local officials, businesses, and other key partners.
We're part of the Clean Cities and Communities partnership—a national network of local coalitions hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy. Our program is administered through the Greater Portland Council of Governments.
